We just completed a "Spring Tune-up" discipleship conference at First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House, New Jersey on May 5-9, 2012. FUMC Cape May Court House is one of the largest and most evangelistic Methodist churches in southern New Jersey. Many people were motivated to grow spiritually and connected to serve in ministry, several for the first time. The church is ready to grow more than ever in the coming months. What a great experience for all!

In the last 12 months we have seen an increase from 2,000 viewers per month to over 7,000 viewers per month and growing. We have decided to move the blog to a self-hosted site. Schedule a Disciple-Maker's Workshop at your church. The conference may involve evangelism training, new Christian coach training, and a challenging discipleship message on Sunday morning. Welcome to the Simple Disciplehsip website. Since the publication of the book Simple Discipleship, churches of various evangelical denominations and non-denominational churches across North America are using the SD process. Each week I am blessed to hear of churches that are growing as a result of this ministry. Indeed, churches applying the process are experiencing an average of 15% to 20% new growth within 1 year of starting Simple Discipleship. In churches where leaders receive leadership coaching as part of their startup, the growth may be as much as 25%. In addition, the new members of the churches are grounded in their faith, active in their church, and a high percentage of them are disciple-makers themselves.
We have two ministries that are built on the Simple Discipleship process:
J.U.M.P. Sports- a simple sports ministry that any church may start and maintain with minimum resources, money, structure, or volunteers. Even churches that do not use the Simple Discipleship process may benefit from this ministry. JUMP Sports emphasizes Christmanship over sportsmanship and seeking to reduce bullying in the culture, empower youth to overcome failures, develop a positive self-image, and build Christian character. The ministry may be used for virtually any sport and includes envangelistis and discipleship lessons. Use JUMP Sports to effectively reach people under 25 years old. The JUMP Sports Manual will be available soon (2012) along with supporting materials.
RENEW Wellness- a church-based wellness support group ministry designed to help people struggling with disease, despair, and distress. Join the wellness revolution that is sweeping the nation. We provide the leadership training to certify your church's wellness ministry director and we certify and resource your RENEW Wellness chapter. The ministry is based on principles of James 5:13-15 and is supported by the biblical foundtion of Simple Discipleship.
